Spatially-resolved reaction profiles in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis – influence of operating conditions and promotion for iron-based catalysts

چکیده

The complex reaction mechanism of iron-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis comprises manifold primary and secondary pathways. Within this work, an experimental setup for spatially-resolved measurements on promoted catalysts is presented, allowing a general study the influence operating conditions promotion as well reactions product selectivity. It was found that, depending catalyst composition, considerable hydrogenation 1-alcohols olefins occurs, while no reinitiation chain growth distribution could be found.
